Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

Not cooling, running constantly, leaking water or icing over — same-day diagnosis and repair for every refrigerator and freezer style.

  • Same-day slots
  • Warranty on parts and labor

A refrigerator that is not cooling properly is the one repair that cannot wait — food spoils, and in Houston’s summer humidity it does not take long. Our technicians carry the sensors, compressors, evaporator fans and sealed-system parts that fail most often on French door, side-by-side, bottom-freezer and fully built-in refrigeration, so most calls are finished the same visit.

We also handle stand-alone freezers, wine and beverage columns, and the ice maker or water dispenser bolted onto your fridge — a separate line item most repair companies treat as an afterthought. Every diagnosis starts with a flat, written quote before any panel comes off, so you know the cost before we touch anything.

Why is my refrigerator running but not cold?

The compressor turning on does not mean the sealed system is working — a failed evaporator fan, a blocked defrost drain or a low refrigerant charge from a slow leak can all leave the compressor running while the inside stays warm. We diagnose which one it is before quoting a fix.

Is it worth repairing an older refrigerator?

Usually, yes. Most refrigerator failures are a single part — a start relay, a fan motor, a control board — not the compressor itself, and that repair is almost always cheaper than a comparable new unit, especially for built-in and panel-ready refrigeration.

Houston’s heat and humidity put refrigeration under stress that more temperate climates do not — a unit that runs hard all summer is more likely to hit a failed start relay or an overworked condenser fan. We see the seasonal pattern in our call volume and stock accordingly. If you are without refrigeration, call early: cooling calls move to the top of the day.

We prioritize refrigerator calls because food loss makes waiting expensive. Call early in the day and we will do our best to reach you before evening — most refrigerator repairs on the common platforms are parts-on-van jobs that do not require a return visit.
